Both of our ferrets are rescues, when we brought the second one home he had a taste for house roaches. He freakin loved them, where we were living at the time the people didnt like to use chemicals on the roaches because of their children and 6 small dogs so it wasn't an issue. When those roaches were squished there was no cloudy white center however in our new apartment we have to be very careful with him and the roaches. The roaches in our new apartment have been chemically treated, when squished their insides are cloudy white from poision that is burning through their insides. Soo if I were you I wouldnt let her do this anymore, at least not until you have had them tested to make sure they arent getting chemically treated somehow. Palmetto's come in from outside, they could have come from someone's yard who is treating them. Sorry if you get offended but its for the better
